In Viva Piñata you take control of a heavenly garden that you can arrange according to your own wishes. You will need to prepare the soil for cultivation and then sow seeds for grass and other plants. Certain habitats attract certain piñatas and certain animals attract other piñatas. By paying close attention to your environment and responding to the needs of your different piñatas, you will be able to create a unique ecosystem. If the piñatas have a great time, they can even have children.
The game largely revolves around your personal wishes. You can decide for yourself what your garden will look like and how you want to organize it. You can also provide your piñatas with all kinds of clothing and accessories and it is possible to give each piñata its own name. To top it all off, you can tame your animals by feeding them. Every Piñata needs different food: for example, the worm Piñatas will be satisfied with a pile of sand, while another Piñata wants to eat the worm. However, don't think that the worm is dead: it will come back to life outside your own garden.
