Tales of Graces is set on the planet Efinea. The people of Efinea use the substance Arles to build their world. There are 3 nations on Efinea, Windor, Stratha and Fendel. These 3 nations are fighting for power over the planet. You are Asbel, eldest son of the Baron Aston of Lhant in Windor.
Asbel has joined the Knights Academy in the capital to become stronger and to protect people. The game takes place 8 years after his choice. Unfortunately, Asbel's father dies and Asbel decides to throw away his Knight title and take over the position as Baron van Lhant.
