Archaeologist and puzzle-solver Professor Layton returns with a brand new adventure that digs deeper than ever into the professor's past: Professor Layton en het Masker der Wonderen. This new title in the popular puzzle adventure series is exclusive to Nintendo 3DS.
In addition to 150 fresh brain teasers and a new series of mini-games in the Professor's Case, Professor Layton and the Mask of Wonders offers access to 365 additional daily puzzles distributed via the Nintendo Network. So that's a new puzzle every day, until a year after the launch of the game.
This fifth installment in the series begins with Layton, Luke and Emmy, shortly after the events of Professor Layton and the Melody of the Ghost. The brave trio are asked to stop the mysterious Masked Lord who is terrorizing the city of Monte d'Or with dark magic. The professor suspects the influence of the Mask of Chaos, a mask that, according to stories, gives special powers to those who wear it.
