The Nintendo 3DS (N3DS or 3DS) is a handheld device produced by Nintendo and is the official successor to the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo 3DS was officially introduced to the general public at E3 2010 in Los Angeles. The 3DS succeeds the Nintendo DS, has backwards compatibility with DS and DSi games, and competes with the Playstation Vita.
The Nintendo 3DS handles 3D effects without the use of special glasses. It can play some 3D movies and the two front cameras (three cameras in total, also one above the top screen) take 3D photos and 3D videos. You can also browse the internet with it.
