The Nintendo 3DS (N3DS or 3DS) is a handheld, produced by Nintendo and is the official successor to the Nintendo DS. Nintendo 3DS was officially presented to the general public at E3 2010 in Los Angeles. The 3DS succeeds the Nintendo DS, has backward compatibility with DS and DSi games, and competes with the Playstation Vita.
Nintendo 3DS handles 3D effects without the use of special glasses. Certain 3D movies can be played on it and can be made with the two front cameras (three cameras in total, also one above the top screen) 3D photos and 3D videos.
