In God of War Chains of Olympus, Kratos' adventure begins and takes place before part 1, which was released on the PS2. Kratos fulfills a number of assignments for the gods in order to forget the past.
God of War Ghost of Sparta is the second PSP part of God of War and takes place between part 1 and part 2. Kratos is the God of War; and uses his powers to right what was done to him.
