The Watara Supervision was a monochrome handheld game console that was introduced in 1992 as a prize-fighter and had to compete with the Nintendo Game Boy. The game Crystball was included with purchase.
The game console had a slightly larger screen and larger controls, and the games were significantly cheaper than the Game Boy games. However, the games were not of excellent quality, so the computer did not sell very well.
The original design for the game console changed significantly through several exterior changes. The last Supervisions were sold in 1996. The Supervision was marketed worldwide by several companies under different names such as: Supervision Quickshot and Hartung SV-100.
