Alien machines attack Earth without warning. Faced with this seemingly insurmountable threat, humanity flees from Earth to a safe haven on the Moon. There, humanity develops an army of Android soldiers to fight back against the mechanical horde, but they only manage to slow their advance. To break the deadlock, a new kind of android infantry has been sent into battle: the YoRHa squad. In the desolate wasteland of the earth, the war between machines and androids rages on.
