Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), the genius psychopath, is back. This time he has locked eight victims in a basement full of death traps. They have to fight for their lives. The clock is ticking inexorably. The police are immediately on the trail of Jigsaw, but his arrest soon turns out to be part of his sadistic game.
When detective Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) discovers that his son is also in the basement, he is forced to play the game. Jigsaw has nothing to lose, Eric even more.
